San Diego Hall of Champions
The end of last year, I had a Rocky marathon. I watched all the movies for the first time and quite enjoyed a few of them. I found out on Balboa Park's Facebook (on a Monday) that they had a Rocky Balboa statue in one of their museums. So naturally I must see it in person. The statue is located at the San Diego Hall of Champions and Balboa Park does a free residents Tuesday. And SD Hall of Champions just so happened to be on the list for the next day. My dad and I drove down to Balboa Park to see this statue.
When we walked in the SD Hall of Champions, we were thinking where could it be and then we get around the banners in the front and see the back of Rocky Balboa. And my dad and I got super gitty and excited. It's kind of crazy how excited we got for a fictional character but the impact Rocky Balboa has on pop culture is important. He is a true American dream.
